LIMITED BASIS PARTICIPANT

A Limited Basis Participant (LBP) is an owner or operator of underground facilities, but which elects not to be classified as a full voting and participating member of O.U.P.S. An LBP is not eligible to receive excavation notifications from O.U.P.S.

 

Benefits to Governmental and Non-governmental LBP Memberships

  • You are fulfilling the requirements of the Ohio Revised Code as a registered member of a one call

  • 24 hours / 7 days a week uninterrupted service

  • You choose the County / Counties, Cities, or Townships in which your underground facilities are involved

  • O.U.P.S. will inform the caller you have underground facilities in those geopolitical areas. It is the developer or excavators responsibility to contact you directly. You will not receive notification from O.U.P.S.

  • Initial registration fee required

  • Billed annually for each referral with a minimum annual fee

  • Skilled customer service representatives use state of the art technology to pinpoint exact locations

  • Voice recorded and computer data stored for your legal protection for 7 years

  • Take a proactive stance in regards to public and safety and awareness by utilizing the O.U.P.S. statewide marketing and public education programs

  • By protecting your underground infrastructure, this shows your companies commitment to your customers to provide continued quality service

Database Options

Your company chooses the County / Counties, Cities, and/or Townships in which your underground facilities are involved.
