O.U.P.S. Sponsors Annual Front Yard Facelift Promotion

Two lucky families have received complimentary outdoor landscaping as part of the annual "Front Yard Facelift" promotion, sponsored by O.U.P.S., local landscapers and television stations.
The even kicked off on March 26, in Youngstown and Columbus, with winners announced live on WFMJ/NBC Channel 21 (Youngstown) and WSYX/ABC Channel 6 (Columbus) in early summer.
As part of our sponsorship package, O.U.P.S. received television time on both stations and several mentions throughout live broadcast.
O.U.P.S. Launches New Safe Digging Awareness Campaign

In an effort to increase awareness of safe digging across the state, O.U.P.S. has launched a widespread communications campaign. The campaign will include the following elements:
- Logo — We recently redesigned our logo to communicate our purpose and safety message more clearly and set the tone for future marketing efforts. Visit the logo download page.
- Excavator/Contractor Print Ad — New print ads promoting i-dig and targeting Ohio excavators and contractors will run in Builder Update, Building Ohio and Ohio Contractor magazines throughout the year.
- Promotional materials — These include an informational brochure, member newsletter and other items designed specifically for your needs.
- Television ads (view the new TV spots!) — We've created two, 30-second Public Service Announcements (PSA) spots, one targeting homeowners and the other targeting professional excavators and contractors. Both PSA's will run through the end of September 2007, on a variety of cable television networks, including HGTV, Discovery, TNT, The Weather Channel, TLC, ESPN, A & E, FOOD Network and USA, as well as CNN and Fox News (Columbus only). Be sure to tune into these stations on the following dates to view the PSA's:
- Cincinnati (March 25 — May 10)
- Columbus (March 25 — May 30)
- Dayton (April 15 — May 30)
- Toledo (May 15 — June 30)
- Youngstown (June 15 — June 30)
- Cleveland/Akron (June 15 — August 31)
- Lima (August 15 — September 30)
- Public Relations — Throughout the year, our Outreach Team will work with media outlets, associations and legislators to spread the word about damage prevention issues.
