Norfield? Norfield who?
You may not have heard of the company name Norfield, but you have used our solutions through OHIO811. Norfield has been a technology partner for OHIO811 for almost two decades. Here’s some background of how you have used our technology solutions, and possibly without knowing it.
If you have called in a ticket to OHIO811, the ticket was entered and produced through Norfield’s Newtin software. Additionally, the mapping information displayed in Newtin and on the ticket is Norfield’s new mapping solution, GEO LOGiX®. If you submit tickets online using i-dig, then you’ve used Norfield software.
As a utility member, if you have received a ticket for a locate request via email or through a TMS, that ticket was delivered to you utilizing Norfield’s Newtin Ticket Delivery Services.
Today, many members of OHIO811 use Norfield’s locate management software, Locator LOGiX®, to manage and respond to their organization’s locate requests. Locator LOGiX® is the modern and advanced platform that replaced WebTMS (another historical Norfield solution) last year.

DiG LOGiX® is a new application intended for excavators, utilities, and construction companies to manage multi-state excavation projects on any device from anywhere. DiG LOGiX® is a unique mobile friendly platform that delivers crucial intelligence behind a next-generation technology stack to keep people safe before excavation occurs. This new application is an alternative to i-dig, however, with unique and more robust functionality.

CENTER LOGiX™ will soon replace Newtin and at its core is so much more than a traditional ticketing system. The platform is focused on providing a seamless technological ecosystem for the flow of information between all OHIO811 users while managing connections to outside stakeholders. We are excited to launch a more advanced contact management platform that will enhance your experience at OHIO811 and give members more options to independently manage their information.
Look for more information soon on CENTER LOGiX™ and another addition to the Norfield LOGiX™ Platform, INSIGHT LOGiX™. This new continuous intelligence and data analytics platform is developed for risk scoring and modeling to help prevent damages.
